Harwood is a small city north of Fargo, just off Interstate 29 and close to the Sheyenne River. It is mostly houses: an older town core with wood-frame homes, and newer homes on larger lots built from the 1970s on. Siding is a mix of wood lap, hardboard, steel and vinyl.
